The situation is becoming similar in developing countries. The main causes of injuries are road, domestic, and occupational accidents. The World Health Organization has established a programme of cooperation with Member States to control the accident and injury epidemic, emphasizing the need for prevention. The top three leading causes of preventable injury-related death – poisoning, motor vehicle, and falls – account for over 83% of all preventable deaths. No other preventable cause of death—including suffocation, drowning, fire and burns, and natural or environmental disasters—accounts for more than 5% of the total. In contrast, nonfatal emergency department visits are dominated by fall.

Insurance companies, car repair shop, lawyers and courts demand documents, experts reports, bills and receipts, photos and in most cases a sketch of the sequence of events that led to the accident. Don't give yourself such a hard time: Draw your diagram with just a few mouse clicks from our library of vehicles, roads and traffic signs.

Accident prevention is accomplished through feedback where established information systems for production planning and control and safety management are used. The aim is to conduct a smooth operation with as few disturbances and improvisations as possible, so as to not increase the risk of accidents. Motor vehicle accidents. Worldwide, motor vehicle accidents are a major cause of death, and, despite improvements in automobile safety, projections have indicated that deaths from traffic crashes will increase significantly by because of increased motor vehicle ownership. Examples of causes of traffic accidents include speeding, drunk driving, distracted driving, and inexperienced driving.
